It can be considered that weddings and candles go together like bread and butter - both are synonymous to romance and the hope of a brighter future. Even during romantic dinners, candles are used to heighten the mood. Candles also come in many shapes, sizes, colors, and designs and can be used for many occasions as well as just simple decorations.
Candles are used aesthetically and for practical purposes. During Christmas, christenings, or in any other celebration, candles are used to symbolized light and hope. For aesthetic purposes, candles can be molded which makes them very much in demand as they can be molded to any design possible.
Candles also make for good wedding favors. Here are some ideas that you can choose from if you want to give away a little romance to your guests.
Candles shaped as wedding cake can truly spell amazement. Not your usual candle stick, this favor can even be a conversation piece. Other interesting candle shapes are candle bouquets, gingerbread candles, heart-shaped candles, ice cream cone candles, and cupcake-shaped candles.
Depending on your style and the theme of your wedding, choose a design and color that everyone will truly love. Scented and shaped candles are not just beautiful to look at, but they smell great as well. Candle holders also make for great candle-themed favors.
Apart from the traditional candles, you can also give away gel candles. For a more elegant yet playful wedding favor, you can have the candle placed in a cocktail glass instead. For other shapes and designs, you can ask your local store in advance to create them for you. Just ensure they are advised weeks or months in advance to make sure they make it on your wedding day.
